Michele Ruiz| President & CEO

Michele Ruiz, President & CEO, brings unique strategic and business experience as well as insight. She is a former award-winning broadcast journalist, subject matter expert, and a sought-after professional speaker on topics including communications, digital strategies, technology, and entrepreneurship. She is a senior strategist and specializes in crisis communications, reputation management, media training, social media and content marketing. She leads a team that is experienced, certified and award-winning in social media, PR, media training, online marketing, market research, crisis, communications, reputation management, content marketing, change management, digital strategies and technology. Michele’s latest endeavor involves publishing her first best-selling book, Content Marketing for Lawyers. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Michele Ruiz enjoyed a long career as an award-winning broadcast journalist and received 16 Emmy nominations during her news broadcasting career, 5 Emmy's, 4 Golden Mikes as well as LA Press Club Awards.

Monica L. Bouldin | Vice president 

Monica Bouldin brings more than 20+ years of award-winning B2B and B2C marketing communications expertise to the Ruiz Strategies team. A dynamic combination of creative strategy and results-based execution, Monica specializes in corporate and lifestyle marketing, brand and digital strategy, crisis and multi-cultural communications.
Spanning her agency career, Monica has worked with a variety of companies and brands, including Absolut, Virgin America, Nestlé, Wolfgang Puck Catering, Hilton Prestige Portfolio, Oakwood Worldwide, Terranea Resort, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, Microsoft Xbox, Square Enix, Rolls-Royce of North America, Television Academy Foundation, and Gallo Wines.
Prior to joining Ruiz Strategies, she served as vice president for R&R Partners. She previously served as executive vice president and general manager for Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K) in Southern California, where she successfully ran the Los Angeles and Orange County offices.  Monica started her agency career at Ruder Finn before joining Ogilvy PR Worldwide in 2000.  Monica began her career as an intern for Fox Broadcasting Company, before joining Warner Bros. Consumer Products, working on some of the world’s most-loved entertainment brands and franchises.
A multi-award-winning marketing communications leader, Monica is active in the Los Angeles community and currently serves on the board of directors for UNITE-LA.  She has a degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations from California State University Fullerton. While she embodies a true California girl, Monica also traveled to six of the seven continents, with the exception of Antarctica.
